Dr. Kathleen Gross is a board-certified optometrist and Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry providing comprehensive eye care. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry and Master of Science (MS) in Vision Science from State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry where she graduated with honors (Beta Sigma Kappa). She completed training at Woodhull Medical Center and SUNY University Eye Center specializing in ocular diseases, pediatrics, specialty contact lenses, low vision, and glaucoma. Dr. Gross is passionate about health care and sharing knowledge with her peers and the public. She was past-president of the SUNY Student Chapter of the American Public Health Association (APHA), the first optometry-graduate awarded Herman Biggs Health Policy Scholar Award, AOA Foundation’s Dr. Pat & Patrick Cummings Scholarship award winner, among others.

She has published articles in Vision Science journals, is a board member of a non-profit organization, Eye Health Institute and provided eye care to children at the Nicholas Scoppetta Children’s Center in Manhattan.

Known for her precision and attentiveness, Dr. Gross is dedicated to safeguarding her patients’ vision and promoting long-term eye health through proactive, individualized care.

Outside of Optometry, she loves enjoying the outdoors with her family, surfing, biking, and running.
