Shira Nissel, OD
Dr. Shira Nissel is a licensed optometrist. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Queens College City University of New York where she graduated summa cum laude and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry and was the recipient of the Schnurmacher Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Achievement. Her experience includes practicing full scope optometry with a specialized emphasis on contact lens fittings, including specialty fits and multifocal contact lenses. She also performs pre- and post-operative care for refractive and cataract surgery.
